The final stage of the national Para-karate team selection trials for participation in the 2023 World Championships was held and the top athletes of the Iranian Para-karate team were determined.
According to the public relations of the Karate Federation, the Para-karate selection competitions in the women’s and men’s sections for participation in the 2023 World Championships were held on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Shahid Kabganian Hall in Tehran, and the top athletes of these competitions were identified to prepare for dispatch to the World Championships.
According to the public relations of Firooz Health Group, the athletes of Firooz Tavana Sports Club coached by Ms. Zahra Sayah Alborzi representing Firooz Health Group Sports Club participated in the national Para-karate team selection trials and managed to win first to third place in these competitions.
First place: Mr. Mohammad Jafari Fahim
Second place: Mr. Akbar Dudangeh
Third place: Mr. Hossein Tarmian
Mr. Mohammad Jafari Fahim also succeeded in earning the credit to participate in the 2023 World Para-Karate Championships from October 26 to November 7 in Budapest, Hungary.
Also, Ms. Zahra Sayah Alborzi was selected as the exemplary coach and delegate for these competitions and was appreciated and thanked.
